Our incredible three month old
Today Camille is three months old and she’s acting the part. She’s showing so much more interest in the world around her. She’s beginning to have favorites among her toys, and she’s really into her books (more for their colorful pictures than their words). She’s also begun to nap during the day, every couple of hours she begins to get tired and just needs an hours or so rest to recharge and be her delightful self again. Mostly she just looks around with the brightest interest and when she sees something she wants, she goes for it! Laughter is becoming a daily occurrence, but we still haven’t caught her on video! Maybe next week.

Week 12, She laughs.
Laughter came gushing out of our little girl this week, like the sweetest sound you ever heard. We don’t have a video for you, because so far the experiment is unrepeatable, she’s laughing at the darndest things. She cracked up when Steph was opening a toy from it’s plastic package, then again when Remi dropped a plastic wrapper for a dvd on the ground. We were so surprised and giddy ourselves that we didn’t think to film her at the time. So now we’re waiting on the next eruption of giggles, with the camera ready.

11 Weeks Old, Happy Easter
- Happy Easter
It’s been a huge week for Camille developmentally. She finally managed to reach out and grab a toy. She’s been batting at them for a while, but now she is able to make contact and hold on. It’s amazing to watch her begin to interact with her world. She is also a pro at rolling over from her tummy to her back. If there is a toy she wants to touch that’s out of reach, now she can scootch herself around to get it, and roll from her back to her side. She has amazing control over her head now, and if we stand her up, she’ll try to walk towards whatever interests her. Ok, enough bragging, here are the pictures.

Week 10
We’ve had a great week, Camille is growing and developing as fast as ever. This week she has really begun batting and reaching for the animals above her play mat. She’s been trying to reach out for a while, but this week she’s finally begun to make contact. She’s also beginning to have a more set schedule of naps, and bedtime is becoming more consistent, much to her parents delight. Here are some pictures from this week:
- Fascinated with the ceiling fan
- With Sophie, her squeaky giraffe
